An image of the LectraSan type I Marine Sanitation Device that we installed on the boat is provided below. The unit is installed in the starboard forward under seat compartment (just aft of the head).  I cut an access hole under the shower pan and ran a hose directly aft to a new Y valve that directs waste to the Lectrasan or to the forward boat plumbing.  All waste hose is OdorSafe with a very short run of hose to a new dedicated thru-hull adjacent to the unit.  The Lectrasan is interfaced to a modified flush control unit tied to the Sea Era toilet so the toilet pump runs long enough to properly flush the treated waste chamber in the unit.
